Shota Rustaveli National Science Foundation financed description of manuscripts stored in Literature Museum. In process our interest was drawn by one of the manuscript, written in a beautiful calligraphy. The text of manuscript is Hymn honoring the Image of the Savior Made Without Hand (Image of Edessa). We decided publish it. The Museum of Georgian Literature saved many manuscripts, among them is 18th century manuscript - Hymn dedicated to Image of the Savior Made Without Hand (Image of Edessa). It is small sized, panegyric. The author may be Solomon Aleksi-Meskhishvili.
